Principal Psychologist

Tess is a Psychologist with over 20 years’ counselling experience. She currently works with adults and has extensive experience with a broad range of presenting issues. In addition, she has managed a range of Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) and Early Intervention Programs for public and private sector organisations.

Tess is warm and approachable, with a passion for helping clients build personal skills and resilience to navigate their mental health challenges. She supports individuals in working toward greater peace of mind, self-confidence, and overall wellbeing, with the ultimate goal of enhancing life satisfaction, fulfilment, and happiness in a meaningful and effective way.

Tess has particular interest in working with issues relating to:

  • Anxiety, panic and phobias
  • Depression
  • Adjustment Disorder
  • Stress
  • Trauma, grief and loss
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Pregnancy, fertility, IVF and miscarriage
  • Parenting issues

Tess offers an integrative approach to treatment, drawing on a range of current therapies to tailor her counselling. She has expertise in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness, which she combines with psychoeducation and targeted skills training in areas including communication, relaxation, assertiveness and problem solving.

Tess is an approved Medicare, WorkSafe Victoria, NDIS, Comcare, and TAC provider of psychological services. She is also a Member of the Australian Psychological Society.
